Airy elegance and an orange mood in an apartment for a young woman
The owner of this apartment asked Bloom Design to develop the interior entirely to our own taste. She had no specific requests, so the stylistic direction was ours to choose. Her character suggested a calm, practical scheme with one bright accent. That is how this light interior with shades of sunlit caramel and wormwood came about. Darker inclusions provide contrast to the pale finishes. Walls and ceiling were painted in a single colour to visually let air into the rooms. Special attention went to the large living room, which holds — alongside the seating group and television — a workspace with a generous shelving unit and a dining area. The calm bedroom is defined by a textile-finished feature wall and a bed in the same caramel shade, in a more restrained tone, while an “inflatable” armchair adds a playful touch. Every room opens onto the terrace, where a lounge area offers a beautiful view over the city. For the bathroom we chose a contrast of black and white to create a sense of luxury and calm. This project became a fine reflection of the client's personality. These are the principles we follow in every one of our design projects, bringing our clients nothing but positive emotions.
